Gotcha is the community that reports what’s in stock, in stores and online, in real time, on a map. Plus a trading table to swap cards, ETBs, mini tins and boosters with collectors nearby, without ever revealing your address.

On Waze, one driver reports a speed camera and everyone benefits. On Gotcha, one collector spots a restock, reports it in two taps, and the whole community nearby gets notified. The more of us there are, the faster and more reliable the alerts.
On site, in the aisle (within 500 m of the store). They pick the product, the price, how busy it is. Two taps, ten seconds.
Everyone following that product or that area gets a notification. You set your own radius and products.
“Still there”, “All gone” or “That’s fake”. Every report shows its author’s username and reliability, and the alert switches off by itself once the shelf is empty.

Gotcha also gathers public posts from the big alert accounts, restock groups and French retail websites. No more juggling ten tabs: everything lands on your map, sorted by distance and by product.
Got two ETBs and missing a mini tin? Someone 2 km away has the exact opposite. Gotcha connects you, shows whether the trade is fair, and suggests a meeting point: a Pokémon store near you both. Rather sell? Set your price, negotiate in the chat and settle in person.

Other members see that you’re “about 2 km away”, never where you live. Your exact location never leaves your phone: it’s moved to the centre of a 500 m to 3 km square (1 km by default, your choice) before it’s sent, and meet-ups happen in stores, not at your place.
Ten trainers, ten kawaii buddies. Original illustrations: no characters or creatures from the franchise. This is what others see on the map and in the arena.

One link to post on Discord, Insta or in a group: your cards for trade, for sale and the ones you’re looking for, without your prices or your location. Whoever opens it sees your profile and reviews, and can send you a trade offer in the app.

Every set sold in France since 2023, single cards and sealed products, with their real photo in the app. Product names below are the French editions.

Yes. Alerts and the trading table are free, with no intrusive ads. Gotcha is funded by links to retailers and, later on, by optional services for big collectors.
You can only report a restock within 500 m of the store. Every report shows its author’s username; others answer “still there”, “all gone” or “that’s fake”, and a reporter who is often contradicted gets labelled as such. After 8 hours, or after three “all gone”, the alert moves to the store’s history, which shows its restock habits.
Never. You allow location to centre your map, but only a position rounded to a 500 m to 3 km square (your choice) is sent, and others see an approximate distance. You can also pick your watch zones by hand.
You both put your items on the table, the gauge tells you whether it’s fair, you chat in the app, then pick a meeting store from the suggestions. On site, each of you confirms the trade, which builds your reputations.
The app is in French for now, as it launches in France. An English version will come with our first launches outside France.
No. Gotcha is an independent project created by collectors, with no affiliation with The Pokémon Company or Nintendo.
We’re opening the app city by city, so every area starts with enough members for alerts to be useful from day one. Leave your email and we’ll tell you when your city opens.
One single email, when your city opens. Your address is only used for that and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see the privacy policy, in French).
